Brianna Lakin didn't take the easy road. She took the only one she could find.

At 18 years old, homeless and abandoned by her father mid-cosmetology school, she made a choice: finish anyway. Sneaking onto trains, working jobs that didn't pay and rebuilding from nothing, Brianna's story is one of grit, reinvention and finding your calling through the hardest moments. Now based in Las Vegas and specializing in luxury hair extensions at Silq Collective, Brianna is building something bigger than a clientele. She's building a community.
